Digital Imaging Show

There has been nothing to write about in the last few days because nothing has been going on. That’s how boring my life as been. Well that, and I just haven’t been in the mood to blog, but now I am. Goodie huh? lol

Anyways, today was an eventful day filled with rain and old memories.
The day started out with me waking up way to early because the rest of my family was up and making noise. I decided that I might as well get ready to head to Mississauga in order to attend The Photographic, Video and Digital Imaging Show . Once I finally arrived; after I decided to stop listening to my GPS. (It kept telling me to make a U turn when the signs kept telling me to drive straight) I realized that this was the same place where I attended a concert years ago with my ex Justin. It brought back weird memories.

I decided to walk around and look at everything before I spent my money. I mostly looked at the Nikon booth so that I could play with the Nikon D5100. I also looked at the Lensbaby booth. In the end I picked up the Composer lens as well as the Canadian Aperture Kit .

Lensbaby

Stupid me thou, because I was not aware of it being the canadian kit. I would have preferred the American one. I honestly did not look at it till I was already back home. I’m going to return the Canadian one back to Henry’s and then order the American one online. I’m also kicking myself for not picking up the Fisheye Optic . They were selling it for $50, so hopefully I can find it that cheap in the stores here.

I did also pick up a little something else for myself.

OMG I did it again

I know I know. I’m crazy. Now I own two camera’s, but I love them equally. I also picked up a remote for the D5100.

  1. That’s awesome! You’ll have to keep us updated on how you like the D5100. I switched my plans from a Canon to the D3100 after I read your blog & I L-O-V-E mine. I actually ended up trading in my P&S Sony for a Nikon too.

  2. I don’t know whether you’re planning on doing wedding photography but if you are, it is crucial to have two cameras.
