January Recap

Financial:

  • Put $100 aside each month to start an emergency fund. $1,200 isn’t a lot but since I won’t know how much my bills will be costing me I figured I should start out small.
  • Keep my bank account above $1,500 (as to avoid being charged the service fee). As much as I hate not having access to this money, I hate having to pay $3.95 a month just to access it.
  • Decorate my new house for under $3,000. I won’t be rushing into decorating any time soon, so I plan to do a lot of shopping around and hope I get the best deal.

Personal:

  • Lose 50 pounds by December 31st 2012. I’m doing Weight Watchers, teaching myself how to run and I’ll be doing various workouts while using the gym so I hope this is obtainable.
  • Take some photography classes // use my Camera more often. I want to be able to take my camera off the auto setting.
  • Cook at least 5 new meals a month and blog about it. I will be living on my own, so I’m going to try my hardest to accomplish this.
  • Set up a Household Management Binder and actively use my Day Planner and Calendar.  This will help me stay organized (I Hope)
  • Visit my grandparents at least twice a month, or invite them over to my place. This goal does not invoke seeing my Nonna as I see her almost daily since some of my mail is delivered to her place.
