My Walmart + SCOP Deal

Today I went to walmart. I needed to pick up some DVD’s because I’ve been asked if I will make extra copies of the slide show that I created. I didn’t want to use up all my DVD’s so I bought ones to cover what I’ve used. This way the school can issue me back the money. I also had a free coupon for body lotion that I wanted to use.

While I was at walmart I decided to walk around and see if I could find any good deals. Cassie taught me to do this.

I’ve been trying to figure out how to decorate my living room, and I’ve been thinking of placing a large mirror on the wall, so I looked to see how much they cost. I found one that I liked and it was on sale too. The sticker price said it was regularly $25 but on sale for $15.

So I went back to the front of the store to get a cart. When I got back and re-read the price sticker more closely I realized that it’s not even the correct sticker for the mirror. So I decided to price check the mirror. Turns out the mirror is worth $60. I should have taken a photo of that. lol

I realized that I could probably get this $60 mirror for about $5. So I decided to try. I made my way to the cash and when the mirror was scanned I explained how it was advertised on the sticker for $15. The cashier called someone to check it and they informed me that the sticker was incorrect. I said I didn’t care and that there are 4 mirrors sitting there and I want it at that price, and I want the scanning code of practice as well. The cashier was not sure how to do the scanning code of practise so he had to call a manager. I started to get a little scared at this point. I have bad luck with managers and I hate having to argue with them because they assume that they are right even when they aren’t. Once the manager came over, and the cashier explained what happened the manager told the cashier to give it to me. She didn’t look to pleased when she realized it was a $60 mirror though.

So how much did I end up paying for my $60 mirror + my free body lotion.

That’s correct. I paid $6.49!
