Hanging out with a friend
I’ve been hanging out with Cassie and her family since Friday afternoon. Our original summer plan was to go Garage Sale shopping today, but Cassie needed to pick up groceries as well as some other items so we changed up the plan a bit. In the last 2 days I’ve spent more time at Square One then I have in my entire life. We were there Friday and today but it was fun, like always.
When we were not at the mall I spent time entertaining Elliott, while Cassie worked. That little boy is a delight to be around and I would totally spend my summer watching him.
In other news, In less then a week I will be in Europe. I still need to read my Nikon D5100 camera manual to figure out how to use some special effect settings, I need to make up a packing list and obviously pack and I need to pay some bills that will come due while I’m away, but for now I’m going to just chill out and watch some TV with Cassie.
oh yeah, Tomorrow I have a date. It will be Date #2 but that’s all the information that I’m going to give about that.

Thankful Thursday V.12
I haven’t done one of these in a while because there hasn’t been much to write about that I’m thankful for. Kind of sad, in a way. I guess.
I’m still dealing with the Great West Life Disaster. I’ve receiving no phone call this week. Shocking! I was hoping that Natalie (the lady I spoke with in the most recent call) would impress me and call me with some good news, but that has not happened yet. Maybe tomorrow it will; and since I won’t be around in the evening to take the call it won’t really make that much of a difference. I guess I will deal with it on Monday evening by calling them myself.
Why won’t I be around? Well I’m spending Friday evening and the better part of Saturday at Cassie’s. We are hitting up Shoppers Drug Mart for their Bonus Redemption . Needless to say it should be an interesting weekend.
